TATER TOURS TO THE COLUMBIA RIVER GORGE & MORE TRIP

JUNE 15^TH – 29^TH   
 

Note: This trip is sold out and waiting list has been started.

June 15^th (Tues) : Fly day only into Portland, Oregon airport!  Hotel Accommodations at the Fairfield Inn, which has free shuttle from the airport. (503) 253-1400 (2 nights).  Continental Breakfast included. There is a year round event located a couple of blocks from the hotel if you have time after your flight. (YRE1640)  A Tater Tour meeting will be held that evening!                 

June 16^th: (Wed)  Drive to Salem Capitol Walk.  This walk passes the Capital grounds, Williamette     University, the Governor’s Mansion and tree shaded parks.  Continue our journey in the afternoon back to Portland and a year round event that goes through a college campus, two parks, and in neighborhoods along a bluff with great scenic views of Oregon and Washington along the Columbia River.  Drive back to our hotel.                 

June 17^th – 19^th (Thurs – Sat): Depart our hotel and drive to Cascade Locks, Oregon, the start location of

the Columbia River Gorge Walks.  We will be in this area for three days walking some great trails with majestic waterfalls.  Hotel accommodations at the Holiday Inn Express in Troutdale for 3 nights! (503) 492-2900 (1/2 hr. away) Continental Breakfast included.                  

June 20^th (Sun) : DAY OF REST!!    Drive to Mt. St. Helens for sightseeing!  After spending time here we will drive to Olympia, Washington for hotel accommodations at the Clarion Hotel (360) 352-7200   Full Breakfast included. 

June 21^st (Mon):  Depart our hotel for a short distance to the Olympia Capital Walk.  This trail goes through the
State Capitol grounds, downtown Olympia and the waterfront.  In the afternoon we will continue to the Seattle area for year round event.  This walk goes past the waterfront, Pioneer Square, Pike Place Market, Waterfall Park, and many more interesting sights!  Hotel accommodations for 2 nights at the Comfort Suites     Downtown, (206) 282-2600 Continental Breakfast included.                 

June 22^nd (Tues): Walks in the Seattle area! (possibly doing YRE 0638 and YRE 0814)               

June 23^rd (Wed): Drive to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho for year round event.  This walk goes around Lake Coeur d’Alene, gorgeous!!  Drive a short distance for our hotel accommodations at the Ameri-Tel Inn (208) 665-9000 Full Breakfast included.                 

June 24^th (Thurs) : Drive to Glacier National Park in Montana for Sanctioned Walk in the Park Hotel accommodations in Whitefish, Montana, located outside the park Approximately 30 miles away. 
Holiday Inn Express (406) 862-4020 Continental Breakfast included. 

June 25^th (Fri) :  Sightseeing in the morning in Glacier National Park before we continue our drive onto Missoula, Montana for hotel accommodations at the Holiday Inn Express (406) 549-7600 Continental Breakfast included.  
(NO WALKS today)

June 26^th (Sat): Drive to Boise, Idaho …….. travel day ONLY!  Hotel accommodations at the Hampton Inn & Suites – Downtown (208) 331-1900 Continental Breakfast Included. (May be able to start walk from hotel) 

June 27^th (Sun): Participate in the Boise Capital Walk event.  This walk goes through the Historic Hyde Park
District, the State Capitol, and through the older residential areas.  Continue our drive to Salt Lake City, Utah.  Hotel accommodations for 2 nights at The Crystal Inn (801) 328-4466 Continental Breakfast included.  (Located only 3
blocks from the Start/Finish for Capital Walk) 

June 28^th (Mon):  Participate in the Capital Walk at your convenience.  This walk goes through Temple Square, the Capital and Gateway Mall.  In the afternoon, we will travel to Park City for year round event for those that want to do another walk.  Route includes Historic Main Street and this scenic City.  Return to our hotel. 

June 29^th (Tues) : Fly Day Only back to our Home Destinations!  Reminiscing about a great TATER TOUR!    

$50.00 will reserve your seat on this great Columbia River Gorge & More trip!!!
