APRIL 9^TH – 12^TH  2010

Visitors Information for New York City

(Idea: Combine this trip with the DC trip)

Apr. 9^th  (Fri.) :   Depart the Gunther Parking Lot, near Baltimore, Maryland and drive to New Jersey for the Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island tour.  Spend the rest of the day touring both of these locations. (No volksmarching today!)  Hotel accommodations at the Hampton Inn in Carlstadt, New Jersey, 5 miles from the Lincoln Tunnel for 3 glorious nights.  (201) 935-9000   Continental Breakfast included.

Apr. 10^th (Sat.):  Participate in the Central Park and Mid-Town Manhattan walk. The Central Park walk passes many significant sites, including the Jackie Kennedy  Reservoir and many museums.  The Mid-Town Manhattan walk goes by Times Square, Madison Square Garden, the UN Complex, and St. Patrick’s Cathedral.

Apr. 11^th (Sun.) :  Participate in the Lower Manhattan walk. This walk visits the Hudson River        Esplanade with views of Ellis Island and Statue of Liberty, South Street Seaport, the                  Financial District with Wall Street, the NYSC, and the World Trade Center area.  In the afternoon, we will see a Matinee Broadway Show. The Broadway Show for the NYC trip is Memphis. You can go to www.broadwayshows.com to check it out.

Apr. 12^th (Mon.):  Participate in the Greenwich Village walk.  This walk visits Chinatown, Little Italy, and Washington Square. In the afternoon, we will take the Circle Line Ferry Tour                  around New York City. You will see 3 Rivers, 7 Major Bridges, and 5 Boroughs.  Continue our journey back to Baltimore, Maryland   For an additional fee, people can reserve hotel near BWI Airport for departure next day. 

$100.00 will reserve your seat on this great trip to the “Big Apple City”!     (Non-refundable)
