TATER TOURS TO WASHINGTON D.C. FOR CHERRY BLOSSOM TIME!

(Idea: Combine this trip with the NY trip)

Apr. 5^th (Mon.) :  FLY DAY ONLY TO BALTIMORE, MARYLAND! (BWI Airport)    Hotel accommodations at the Holiday Inn Express (410) 684-3388 for 4 Glorious nights!  Free shuttle from the airport.  Continental Breakfast included.   For those arriving early, there is a year round event at the Arundel Mills Mall that the hotel shuttle will transport you too.

Apr. 6^th (Tues.):  Participate in the Washington DC National Mall Walk.  Hopefully it will not be too late for the Cherry Blossoms around the Tidal Basin.  (It all depends on the weather!)  This walk takes you past the Lincoln Memorial, Korean Memorial,  White House, and Vietnam Memorial, to name a few.  There is another walk in the afternoon that you can participate in that walks to Arlington Cemetery, Iwo Jima Monument , and Roosevelt Island.  Return to our hotel

Apr. 7^th (Wed.):  Participate in the seasonal walk in Kenwood, Maryland (outside of DC) which  displays an awesome view of cherry blossoms in a beautiful neighborhood. In the  afternoon participate in the Washington walk that goes by many of the Embassies and the National Cathedral.  Return to our hotel.

Apr. 8^th (Thurs.):  Participate in the Baltimore year round event that goes by the Inner Harbor,   Federal Hill, and Camden Yards Baseball Stadium.   In the afternoon, participate in a Baltimore suburb walk that goes through the campus of Loyola College and Sherwood Gardens. (Hopefully a time of beautiful tulips and azaleas!)  Return to our hotel for the last night.  This ends the Washington DC trip, however, the New York City trip starts in the morning for those that want to do both!
