Exquisite double raven with turquoise wrap. Ravens are done in jet. Over 2 in. tall.
Inlaid turquoise eyes. One raven is looking up and the other is looking straight ahead. Nicely etched and polished.
This is a very special and highly collectible piece.

About Zuni Fetish Carvings
Zuni fetish carvings that are offered for sale are based on the cultural use of small animal carvings by the Zuni people. I prefer to call these "carvings," vs. "fetishes," because they serve no cultural or religious use. They are made to sell to collectors. However, you will find that most fetish carvings represent animals known to the Zuni. Full Article

1 and 1/2 in. high carved stone bear. The bear is substantial and measures 2.5 inches in length. Gorgeous red polished stone with turquoise heartline. Wrap is made of stone and shell with small turquoise beads.
